A variety of configurations can be used in SL Predictor to simplify spectroscopic analysis in the laboratory and for routine production.

Spectra are recorded and the properties of unknown samples are calculated quickly and efficiently.
Existing calibration models can easily be extended with new data using the SL Calibration Workshop.

Adaptability:

Spectrometers from various manufacturers are easy to use with the software, which incorporates the manufacturer's original driver (see List of SL Partners (pdf, 105KB)).
The parameters for each type of spectrometer are set up in the software using a customised program which depends on the driver functions.
The data output format for calculated results is selectable via the screen, a printer or an ASCII file.

The program is easy to use with a flexible selection of measuring modes such as:

Optional entry of reference analysis values at the same time as a spectrum is recorded
Spectral capture with or without saving directly to the SL database
Spectral capture alone or together with qualitative or quantitative analysis results
Selectable display options for the analysis results
Scan options such as averaging for multiple measurements
